NASA Steering Solutions: 12 Month – Unlimited KM Warranty.
The term ‘NASA’ refers to NASA Steering Solutions branded products sold by either NASA Steering Solutions or New Zealand Automotive Supplies & Accessories LTD (t/a NASA Parts).
NASA takes pride in the quality of its products. Every NASA Steering Solution product is subject to a series of quality inspections during the production process. NASA’s unlimited KM warranty is limited to NON-COMMERCIAL vehicles only and guarantees that all products will be free from any material defects as long as they have been installed by a professions installer, in the correct vehicle or application they have been designed for, for the warranty periods outlined below:
1. Passenger and non-commercial 4WD Vehicles.
• For a period of Twelve (12) months from original date or purchase (unlimited kilometers).
2. Commercial Vehicles.
• Six (6) months or 20,000KM (whichever occurs first).
3. Off-road Vehicles.
• Zero (0) months. Vehicles that have been used in an off-road capacity are not covered under this warranty.
This is a PARTS ONLY WARRANTY and is limited to the total value of the parts original purchase price. It does not cover any labor or other parts which may have failed as a result of a faulty product.
NASA is available to assist with all general product and application inquiries, including warranty related inquiries when purchased direct. However all parts purchase via a third party dismantler/workshop or other service center should direct their warranty claims to the original purchaser.
NASA’s unlimited KM warranty applies to the original purchaser only. NASA cannot be held responsible for damage caused by: accident or vehicle collision, modification of the product, installation error, impact from road debris, or negligence of the vehicle system system.
If a problem with a NASA Steering Solutions product should occur, immediately contact us or original purchaser from whom you purchased the product and notify them of the problem. In most instances, we will require the NASA product to be returned to us for inspection.
Prior to sending a warranty claim, please prepare the following to submit:
• A detailed description of the problem.
• Clear digital photos of the problem.
• A copy of your original receipt or invoice.
• Your full name and address.
• Contact phone number.
The claims process will only begin once you have submitted all of the above information to us or your third party dealer and they have confirmed receipt.
Warranty: Exclusions.
This warranty does not cover vehicles that have been used in any off-road capacity
This warranty is not transferable to any third party, including but not limited to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the product. This warranty does not cover, and is void with respect to: (a) improper installation, storage, repair, maintenance, modification, defects or failures due to misuse, neglect, negligence, abuse, accident, physical damage, improper handling or shipping, abnormal operation or operation contrary to furnished instructions or warnings, exposure to fire; or (b) cosmetic damage; (c) cost of installation, removal or reinstallation; or (d) damage resulting from fire, flood, or other ‘acts of God’ or acts which are not the fault of New Zealand Automotive Supplies & Accessories LTD.
NASA disclaims any and all liability for any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose. Under no circumstances shall New Zealand Automotive Supplies & Accessories LTD be liable for any incidental, indirect, specific or consequential damages arising from purchaser’s use of the product.
Warranty: Installation.
NASA Steering Solutions is committed to providing quality steering racks that meet or exceed OEM standards.
We recommends installation of steering racks be performed by a qualified mechanic.
NASA Steering Solutions steering racks are vehicle specific for an easy install and are designed to work with your factory OEM parts.
