Returns & Refunds Policy
The term ‘NASA product’ refers to NASA-branded products sold by either NASA Steering Solutions or New Zealand Automotive Supplies & Accessories LTD (t/a NASA Parts).
Exclusions:
Products supplied by NASA Steering Solutions are excluded from our general return policy and are not eligible for return, unless:
- The product is damaged in transit, or
- It qualifies for a warranty claim.
Change of Mind / Incorrect Orders:
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you:
- Change your mind,
- Your circumstances change, or
- You find a cheaper product elsewhere.
However, if you accidentally ordered the wrong part, you may be eligible for an exchange or refund under the following conditions:
- You notify us within 7 days from the original invoice date.
- The product is unused, in as-new condition, and returned in its original packaging.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and the cost of return shipping will be your responsibility.
If 7 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Purchases via third parties:
If your item was purchased through a third-party dismantler or service garage, please contact them directly for returns. Their return policy may differ.
Do not send the item back to us.
Return Requirements:
- Item must be unused and in the same condition as received.
- Must be returned in original packaging (a re-packaging fee may apply if packaging is missing or damaged).
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you confirmation. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few working days.
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Double-check your bank account.
- Contact your credit card company (posting may be delayed).
- Contact your bank (some processing time may apply).

Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.
If your item was damaged during transit, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt.

Shipping
- You are responsible for paying return shipping.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If a refund is issued, return shipping will be deducted from the refund.
Delivery time for exchanged items may vary depending on your location.
NASA reserves the right to update this Returns Policy without prior notice.
